LVC Companies, Inc. is looking for a qualified Marketing Coordinator to join our growing company.  LVC has a polished and dedicated team of employees that work hard for a great product and excellent service. Our company culture is described as professional, friendly and a team atmosphere.  

 

The Marketing Coordinator is highly creative and technology savvy, and has a strong understanding of how to create visual assets and develop online initiatives that clearly, concisely and accurately display each unique area of our business.  Through a strong online, Search Engine Optimization and keyword strategy, this person will be able to dramatically increase overall website traffic.  Driving traffic from our social media sites to our website and using forms, this person will be responsible for generating leads to be passed on to the sales team. 

A general understanding of the construction industry is needed. This person possesses the ability and desire to learn our company, culture, division specific technologies and regional office locations. Ongoing education can take place in a variety of ways including industry sources, company personnel, attending industry events, participation in division meetings, company orientation, online or classroom training sessions and peer networking. Occasional participation in supporting tradeshow efforts, golf tournament sponsorships and organization meetings are additional areas that will aid in ongoing education about LVC.  

The marketing coordinator will work to facilitate the development of company print, digital and online assets.  The marketing coordinator will also ensure the accuracy of spelling, grammar, punctuation, paragraph structure, the overall layout, visual design, and compliance with brand standards.

  • Website/Online
    • SEO/keywords regular research for keyword trends identifying specific areas we can update content to increase traffic, specifically focused on areas of our website that are not generating traffic. Utilize backlinking with manufacturers, partner organizations and other best practices to improve our search results.
    • Overall traffic stay informed of keyword and search trends and adjust pages, keywords, metadata and provide technical writer a request for content to keep website fresh and relevant. Provide monthly reports that details traffic, lead sources
    • Lead Generation using content provided by technical writer, develop campaigns that highlight and promote specific business divisions through our website with forms to capture leads. Promote campaigns using social medial platforms in addition to keyword campaign best practices.
    • News feed/update maintaining ongoing newsfeed/blog on our website in conjunction with social media updates and efforts.
    • Events (including Eventbrite) manage promotion of events including on technology lunch and learns hosted by LVC, client events, partner promotions including website, social media and Eventbrite. Leverage the interaction of each platform for regional and network exposure.
    • Downloadable White papers using white papers provided by the content coordinator, build download campaigns that lead to contact capture.
    • Site audit each month to ensure accuracy of information, need for additional content, site speed, and other areas that affect site performance.
    • Maintain online directory listing profiles, pictures, locations and keywords through next dashboard.
  • Social media
    • Build audience in FB, Linked In, Twitter, YouTube and other channels as appropriate, increasing audience size and scale.
    • Post frequency determination is based on platform best practices with topics to include items from the following and others as identified:
      • Company updates
      • Promotions
      • Community service
      • Overall core values
      • Learning opportunities
      • Thought leadership
      • Technology trends
      • Information
      • White Papers
      • Testimonials
      • Case Studies
      • Informational videos
    • Report monthly on results from each platform and adjust posting/sharing strategy based on balance of activities, engagement results, source traffic to website and lead capture. Based on result trends make recommendations for content, topic or delivery changes.
  • Design assist in the design aspect of marketing assets and sales tools including but not limited to the items listed below. Using marketing SharePoint calendar as a communication tool, divisions, regional office and other individuals as needed can request collateral items specific to business needs, sales focus, industry participation or other trigger events. Content for these pieces will be provided by the technical writing coordinator. 
    • Infographics
    • Sales flyers and brochures
    • Presentation folders
    • Promotional flyers
    • Event specific pieces
    • PowerPoint presentations (s) for sales
    • Field service items (stickers, tags, etc...)
  • Monthly newsletter responsible for collection of articles and contributions for the monthly newsletter. Using submissions from internal newsletter prepare highlight customer newsletter using mail delivery program.  (Vertical Response, MailChimp, iContact).  Monthly evaluate opens, clicks, bounces and forwards for content effectiveness.
  • Content Development develop content in a variety of formats that will support our print, digital and online marketing efforts. Content should highlight division expertise, regional focus and global marketing strategy. This coordinator will be tasked for creating some, parts or all of the content needed to support the following efforts.
    • Website regular refreshes and as new pages, areas of expertise, new product lines are added, changed, and developed.
    • Sales collateral assist in drafting content for division specific informational literature.
    • Infographics as needed assist design coordinator with content to support visual graphics.
    • Sales flyers and brochures - assist in drafting content for division specific informational literature.
    • Promotional flyers
    • Resumes for proposals
    • Event specific pieces
    • Monthly newsletter internal
    • Monthly newsletter - external
  • RFP Responses - The content coordinator will also be responsible for assisting the sales team in preparing genera/standard responses for RFP's in addition to some assembly responsibility for proposals that are complex, require a lot of attention to detail or are combining multiple divisions responses into a common document.
  • Proposal Supplements and Enhancements update and add supplemental tools for sales team to be used when pursuing new clients, requesting opportunities and preparing project proposals.
    • Employee Resumes for proposals. Establish process for audit, review and updates 2x per year.
    • Project Profiles work with sales and project managers to build project profiles that highlight/feature signature projects to be used by creative coordinator for content and sales team for supplemental support.
    • Testimonials and Referrals using template completed by sales/PM rep, develop testimonial/referral sheets.
    • Awards and recognition
    • Safety, Workforce Participation, Green Initiatives.
    • Create boilerplate language as needed for proposals including workforce participation, schedule and workflow, communication, change order process, and others as they are presented.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or equivalent training and experience

 Work Experience: 3 + years of proposal and graphics design experience in architectural/engineering/construction industry is preferred.

Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)

Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:

  • Accurate, organized and detail oriented
  • Able to translate complex construction ideas in written and graphic format
  • Strong graphics skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
